My recent creations have been wooden dolls inspired by antique wooden Queen Anne dolls from around 1680 to early 1800s. All my dolls hand carved from the wood and dressed on hand stitched costumes of this period.

Queen Anne style baby doll.

Queen Anne baby doll is finished! She is 8 inches tall. Dressed on Christening dress and bonnet. Baby doll carved from basswood , painted with gesso and antiqued for age. All cloth is removable . Dress, underwear, bonnet hand sewing from antique batiste and french lace, silk ribbons. Hair made from antique silk.
